As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for political intrigue and cyber thrillers, I can hardly contain my excitement for Netflix’s upcoming limited series, Zero Day. With Robert De Niro stepping into the presidential role and Angela Bassett at the helm, this series promises to be a gripping tale of power, secrets, and high-stakes technology.

The United States needs Robert De Niro‘s help in Netflix‘s Zero Day.

As a gamer, I’m pumped about diving into the world of this upcoming limited series! Known for his iconic roles, our favorite actor will be stepping onto the small screen for the first time, portraying a former president. In this gripping tale, he’ll lend a hand to the current president, played by none other than Angela Bassett, following a devastating cyber attack that’s being referred to as a Zero Day event. Netflix dropped a sneak peek at this thrilling series on Wednesday, revealing its highly anticipated release date: February 20th! Can’t wait to see what unfolds!

In the film titled “Zero Day”, Robert De Niro plays George Mullen, a revered ex-US President who leads the Zero Day Commission in a mission to discover those responsible for a destructive cyber attack that’s wreaked havoc nationwide and claimed countless lives. The plot summary goes: “As misinformation spreads and the self-serving interests of tech moguls, Wall Street elites, and government officials intersect, Mullen’s relentless pursuit of truth compels him to confront his own hidden demons while jeopardizing everything he cherishes.

The six-part series was jointly developed by screenwriters Eric Newman, Noah Oppenheim, and Michael S. Schmidt from the New York Times, while Lesli Linka Glatter oversaw direction for all episodes.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to be part of this game featuring an impressive lineup! Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Plemons, Joan Allen, Connie Britton, and Matthew Modine are on the team, along with some special guests like Bill Camp, Dan Stevens, Gaby Hoffmann, Clark Gregg, and McKinley Belcher III.

Besides Newman, Oppenheim, Linka Glatter, Schmidt, and De Niro, Jonathan Glickman also serves as one of the producers in an executive capacity.
