As a long-time admirer of YOSHIROTTEN’s work, I can confidently say that the extension of his “FUTURE NATURE II in Kagoshima” exhibition is nothing short of a dream come true for fans like myself. Having followed his artistic journey since his early days, I am always amazed by his ability to blend nature and technology in such a unique and captivating way.
Due to high public interest, the solo exhibition of YOSHIROTTEN titled FUTURE NATURE II in Kagoshima has been extended and will now run until December 8, 2024. Originally slated to close on November 24, 2024, the exhibition has been prolonged to give visitors more time to enjoy it.
In Kagoshima’s FUTURE NATURE II, an extensive collection of both vintage and contemporary artworks are presented in a fresh environment, where space and lighting arrangements significantly impact the overall experience. The artist, who works across multiple disciplines, initiated the “Future Nature” series by creatively merging textures from nature like mountains and rivers with advanced technology.
YOSHIROTTEN’s creations are frequently designed to be adaptable, interactive, and forward-thinking, often harmonizing with their environment. A prime example of this can be seen in his grand-scale sculptures, like the “Silver Mountain (2018)”, which is covered entirely in reflective foil, giving it a mountainous appearance.
