As a lifelong Angeleno and die-hard skateboarding enthusiast, I can’t help but feel a surge of pride as I gaze upon the latest collaboration between my beloved Crenshaw Skate Club and the Los Angeles Chargers. Growing up in South Central, the Chargers were more than just a football team; they were a symbol of resilience, determination, and grit – qualities that are deeply ingrained in the very fabric of our community.
No matter what, you can always rely on Crenshaw Skate Club to stay devoted and give their all for their hometown team, the Los Angeles Chargers. For several football seasons, the skate imprint led by Tobey McIntosh has partnered with the NFL squad for joint apparel releases, and this season is no exception.
The experienced duo outside the field has introduced their initial partnership collection with the Chargers for this season, celebrating the team’s newly presented navy alternate uniforms. Featuring shades of navy and yellow, the collection includes a hoodie, a t-shirt, and a skate deck. Further collaborative collections are planned to drop as the season continues. According to a press release, this launch marks the beginning of a more extensive December collaboration with the NFL team.
In McIntosh’s explanation, he pointed out that blending the traditions of skateboarding and football – two activities that typically don’t intersect – results in a one-of-a-kind and potent fusion.

Growing up, I was captivated by their indomitable spirit and resilience, traits that continue to motivate me to this day.
