As a die-hard Peanuts fan who grew up with Charlie Brown and Snoopy, I can’t contain my excitement for “Peanuts Night” on The Masked Singer! Since I first heard about it, I’ve been reminiscing about those classic cartoons and the memories they brought me.
Thanksgiving is a time for joyous gatherings, enjoying upcoming movies in cinemas from 2024, and possibly unwinding by catching an episode of The Masked Singer. Despite a minor concern I have, it has piqued my curiosity as to what we may anticipate during the next Thanksgiving, on the 2025 television schedule.
Initially, I believed that the unconventional NFL episode of “The Masked Singer” made an ideal Thanksgiving homage. However, upon reflection, I realize there’s another theme more fitting for the season – one that had escaped my mind until now. Oh dear, I feel like such a scatterbrain for not thinking of it sooner!
The Masked Singer Will Be Doing “Peanuts Night” On Thanksgiving
For “Peanuts Night” on The Masked Singer, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and their entire gang will join in. Fox has released an exciting preview for this special episode, which will air immediately following the end of football on Thanksgiving Day.
Regardless if you’re occupied on Thanksgiving night, I can assure you that I will record the episode or stream it later using Hulu. Hearing Charlie Brown exclaim “Good Grief” after Ken Jeong makes a particularly bad guess would undoubtedly make the show memorable for me and perhaps even surpass some of the most surprising moments from The Masked Singer. It seems fitting for evening entertainment, but I must admit there’s one potential issue that I find troubling.
No Peanuts Songs Have Been Announced For The Episode, Which Does Bum Me Out
According to Variety, the tunes slated for “The Masked Singer’s” “Peanuts Night” might not live up to expectations compared to their Queen Night performance. Unfortunately, it seems that there won’t be any Peanuts-specific songs included in the lineup; instead, expect performances of songs like “I Hope You Dance,” “Holiday,” and “Ho Hey.
If you’re someone who was anticipating a tune from You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, possibly even the timeless “Christmastime Is Here,” you might find yourself feeling let down by the end of an episode of The Masked Singer. It’s not entirely impossible that there will be songs performed, but given the show’s usual pattern, I would expect any such performances to be advertised or hinted at in the trailer instead of kept as a surprise.
For those stumbling upon this announcement, it’s important to note that this isn’t a standalone holiday episode of The Masked Singer, but rather the continuation of Season 12’s Group C Finals.
