As Jack’s innocence guides Kathy on her journey to healing and rediscovering love, the story revolves around the challenge of Jack being, after all, just a snowman and winter’s fleeting nature. Netflix Sets its Sights on Christmas
Netflix has established itself as a major contender in the holiday film genre, debuting hits such as the Princess Switch series, the A Christmas Prince series, Holidate, and Single All the Way. Recently added to the streaming platform is The Merry Gentleman, featuring Chad Michael Murray, which swiftly climbed to the top position. This film tells a timeless Christmas story about a former city dancer who organizes an all-male Christmas spectacle in an attempt to save her family’s business. Although it hasn’t been well-received by critics, it’s challenging not to be charmed by a holiday movie starring Chad Michael Murray, known for his roles in One Tree Hill and Gilmore Girls.
Upcoming in Netflix’s holiday schedule is “Our Little Secret” starring Lindsay Lohan, set to debut on November 27th. This romantic comedy finds Lohan and Ian Harding from “Pretty Little Liars” reunited for Christmas as they discover their current partners are siblings. “Our Little Secret” marks Lohan’s second Christmas movie for Netflix (she was in “Falling for Christmas” last year), and her third project overall with the streaming service, following her lead role in “Irish Wish” earlier this year. The film is directed by Stephen Herek and features Kristin Chenoweth and Jon Rudnitsky alongside Lohan.
