As a long-time fan who has witnessed the meteoric rise of both Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar, I can’t help but feel like a referee in a rap beef that neither artist seems to have officially declared. The recent tweet from Lil Wayne feels like a subtle warning to K. Dot, echoing the sentiments expressed by Lamar on his “wacced out murals” track about the Super Bowl controversy.

In another way of saying it, it seems that Lil Wayne might not have explicitly mentioned Kendrick Lamar by name, but some of his recent comments on X could potentially be a direct reaction to the lyrics Kendrick used on his GNX track titled “wacced out murals.

In simpler terms, Weezy’s tweet seems like a sort of advice or caution to Dot, suggesting that he should allow “this large person” to rest peacefully. He wrote, “[I]n essence, what am I doing? I just relax, and yet they still come after me. Let’s not mistake kindness for weakness. Allow this giant to sleep. I truly implore you all.
