As an experienced crypto investor and tech enthusiast with a keen interest in AI and decentralized applications, I am thrilled about the launch of YeagerAI’s Intelligent Oracle. Having witnessed the limitations of traditional oracles and their impact on DApp performance, I believe that this AI-powered solution is a game-changer.
Artificial intelligence research lab YeagerAI launches Intelligent Oracle to provide real-time data access to decentralized applications (DApps).
In simple terms, GenLayer’s AI research lab, YeagerAI, unveiled their latest innovation – the Intelligent Oracle. This platform aims to transform the way Decentralized Applications (DApps) gather both off-chain and on-chain data. The Oracle is an intelligent, AI-enhanced system that brings decentralized data onto the blockchain, enabling DApps to utilize this data across various applications. It’s been designed to empower the next wave of DApps, capable of retrieving any type of online data and delivering it entirely on the blockchain.
As a crypto investor, I’m excited about the Intelligent Oracle built on the robust GenLayer blockchain. This innovative tool is fueled by Large Language Models (LLMs), seamlessly integrated into GenLayer’s dynamic Optimistic Democracy consensus mechanism. This consensus mechanism lends flexibility to the oracle, leveraging AI technology to arrive at agreements for subjective tasks, making it a truly intelligent solution.
Initially, the Intelligent Oracle is set to debut on a private, internal network. By the close of 2024, it’s anticipated that the GenLayer Testnet will be up and running.
Building The Next-Gen Oracle For Futuristic DApps
YeagerAI is a development firm that focuses on AI and machine learning to build advanced technologies with a focus on sovereignty, transparency, and decentralization. The research lab aims to provide blockchain developers with open-source tools and protocols that enhance human-AI interactions such as the GenLayer blockchain. The blockchain enables developers to create decentralized applications that can natively search the web, make complex decisions, and process natural language instructions.
The upcoming debut of Intelligent Oracle is poised to transform the way on-chain and off-chain data is gathered across DApps, empowering apps with real-time, live data streams from the real world. Existing blockchain oracles primarily rely on on-chain data, which restricts many applications from functioning optimally.
Furthermore, conventional oracles struggle with delivering extensive datasets beyond their preset options and occasionally necessitate manual adjustments, making them sluggish, expensive, and inflexible. Modern and emerging applications demand instantaneous, precise, and sometimes subjective data from the internet. The Intelligent Oracle is designed to address this issue by providing an autonomous solution, granting developers of decentralized applications (dApps) access to a virtually limitless variety of data types.
To maintain the security, decentralization, and verification of the gathered data, the Oracle utilizes validators that link to LLMs. This network configuration allows it to handle transactions with an element of randomness by pulling data from the web. When a request is made, a primary validator proposes a result, while other validators independently check this output against established equivalence standards. The system of Optimistic Democracy guarantees that all decisions are precise, trustworthy, and secure.
A Breakthrough For DApps’ Use Cases
As stated by the team, Intelligent Oracle represents a pioneering product that utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to power Smart Contracts on the GenLayer blockchain. This oracle functions effortlessly within the GenLayer network, providing decentralized, transparent data access while also offering cross-chain compatibility.
As a researcher, I’m thrilled to say that post the launch, I can now design and develop cutting-edge applications using Decentralized Applications (DApps), which were previously inconceivable with traditional oracles. The enhanced security and efficiency of DApps in sectors like prediction markets, insurance, and financial derivatives is a game-changer, as they now have access to robust, large data sets. This improvement not only bolsters their overall performance but also opens up new possibilities for innovation.
Regardless, the Intelligent Oracle offers quick and affordable data resolution compared to conventional oracles. Instead of taking days, as traditional oracles often do (causing considerable delays and expenses), this advanced tool settles transactions within an hour at a price of less than one dollar per market.
Previously, we’ve onboarded numerous collaborators and systems for a trial run of our Intelligent Oracle. Notable among these pioneering partners are Radix DLT, Etherisc, PredX, Delphi Bets, and Provably, who have pledged their support in developing with this technology.
Migrating towards an AI oracle system that eliminates human resolution systems and establishes a multi-chain platform is anticipated to offer users a more scalable, streamlined, and future-proof approach for data gathering. Moreover, this cross-chain compatibility will allow DApp developers to effortlessly integrate it with various blockchain networks.
