Toyota Bids Farewell to the Supra with Special “A90 Final Edition”

As a seasoned gamer with a heart for high-speed chases and adrenaline-fueled adventures, I can hardly contain my excitement about the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Supra “A90 Final Edition.” With a life spent mastering virtual tracks and drifting around digital curves, this announcement feels like a dream come true.

Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) has unveiled the “A90 Final Edition” of the Supra, signifying the conclusion of the present-day version of this model. Only 300 units will be produced worldwide, with distribution taking place in Japan and Europe, starting from spring 2025 in Europe.

Beneath its exterior, the A90 Final Edition sports a refined 3-liter engine that produces a powerful 430 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. To enhance performance and create a legendary engine note, it comes equipped with a low-pressure catalyst, optimized cooling systems, and an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system.

This model is known for its exceptional handling precision, which is achieved by means of adjustable KW dampening suspension, reinforced chassis parts, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires that are broader than the ones on the regular Supra. Additionally, it boasts improved aerodynamic aspects such as carbon-fiber spoilers and a swan-neck rear wing, which help to balance downforce and drag.

Within the cockpit, there is a thoughtful layout tailored for the driver. RECARO seats made of carbon fiber and Alcantara material offer comfort and support. Red accents and carbon-fiber scuff plates enhance the car’s unique character. Additionally, this announcement coincides with the conclusion of production for the current Supra model, demonstrating Toyota’s dedication to continuously advance the Supra through motorsports.

Akio Toyoda, the Chairman, referred to the revived Supra as an “old friend” and a representation of his enthusiasm for driving. The special edition is being launched alongside the worldwide release of the upgraded 3L Supra, with a phased introduction into global markets starting in the Spring of 2025.
