I Just Found Out Lacey Chabert’s The Christmas Quest Is Hitting The Hallmark Schedule This Weekend, And There’s An Extra Special Reason Fans Should Tune In

As a die-hard Hallmark Channel fan with over a decade of holiday movie marathons under my belt, I can confidently say that Lacey Chabert has become the embodiment of festive cheer for me. With her 40th movie for the network, “The Christmas Quest,” she’s not just delivering another heartwarming tale this season; she’s also celebrating an incredible milestone in her career.

Since Candace Cameron Bure moved from Hallmark to GAF, Lacey Chabert has been the reigning queen of Christmas movies on Hallmark. The 42-year-old actress has been consistently producing content for the channel since her debut film, “Elevator Girl,” in 2010. This weekend, she returns to the network with “The Christmas Quest,” one of Hallmark’s upcoming releases. Interestingly, I discovered that this new movie also marks a significant achievement for both Chabert and her loyal fans who have supported her throughout her career on the channel.

Indeed, “The Christmas Quest” signifies the 40th film of Chabert’s career with this network. Some individuals may not find a 40th milestone as significant as others, but for Chabert, it serves as an opportunity to reflect upon her journey and all the exciting experiences the network has provided her. In an interview with People, she expressed that her younger self could never have “imagined” the path that lay ahead when she embarked on her first movie 14 years ago.

Reflecting on it now, I could hardly have imagined how that first project would evolve into what it is today. Yet, I feel an immense sense of pride for it and the entire journey that led to the creation of over 40 films. The thrill of filmmaking has undeniably enriched my life in countless beautiful ways.

Chabert’s 40 network ventures span a wide range, featuring numerous heartwarming Christmas movies, yet they extend far beyond that. She was instrumental in the network’s initial trilogy of films (followed by another trilogy) with “The Wedding Veil” and its sequels. Additionally, some of her other projects have provided her with exciting travel opportunities, like the time she journeyed to Hawaii for “Groundswell” filming, or her trip to South Africa to shoot parts of “Love on Safari”.

Here’s one way of paraphrasing: The recently released movie titled The Christmas Quest, filmed this summer in Iceland by Hallmark, serves as another testament to Chabert visiting exotic locations she might not have otherwise. Despite her claim that she chooses these movies for their happy endings, it’s also a great opportunity for her to travel the world.

Earlier this year, Chabert disclosed that she had completed filming her 40th movie, but I hadn’t known it was premiering tonight until she mentioned the experience, describing it as “surreal.” Her upcoming movie promises to be quite exciting, as it pairs her with another well-known cable star, Kristoffer Polaha. The storyline is set to break Hallmark’s trend of simple romance narratives, as Chabert and Polaha will portray an archaeologist and her former partner, respectively. However, we’ll have to wait and see how long the “ex” title sticks around for that character.

The upcoming Christmas schedule is full of some great flicks, but Chabert’s newest release will hit Hallmark on Sunday, December 1 at 8 p..m. ET.
