As a longtime fan of reality TV and a newcomer to Dancing with the Stars, I can confidently say that this season has been nothing short of extraordinary! Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson’s victory was not just a dance competition win but a testament to their resilience, dedication, and undeniable chemistry.
In this season of Dancing with the Stars (2024), former Bachelor contestant Joey Graziadei, along with partner Jenna Johnson, emerged as the champions! This victory followed a highly successful run on The Bachelor during the 2024 TV schedule, giving him a dedicated fanbase and a new fiancee to cheer him on. Although this may have influenced his dance partner selection, it didn’t alter their scores. Their journey to the Mirrorball Trophy was tough and demanding. Now, Joey is expressing gratitude towards Jenna, his fiancée, and others.
Season 33 showcased a challenging contest as all five semi-finalist pairs advanced to the finale night. The runners-up, Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, were widely anticipated to take the title (and I was among them), largely due to their popular TikTok videos throughout the season and Bersten’s consistent weekly improvement. However, Joey Graziadei’s hard work and talent consistently earned him high scores. Moreover, I admired the Instagram post Graziadei posted and his thoughtful introduction to it.

Man, let me tell you, they had an incredible season, and I must say, the choreography from the ex-contestant on So You Think You Can Dance never failed to leave me in awe. Their Tarzan routine after Disney night went viral, and their contemporary dance set to Hozier’s “Work Song” was undoubtedly one of my top picks this season. To put it simply, they poured every ounce of passion into this victory. The former Bachelor contestant’s joy when the winners were announced was absolutely heartwarming and will be etched in my memory for a long time to come.
Jenna Johnson and her spouse both appeared delighted that the trophy would remain in their home this year. Her partner, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, danced with Marvel star Xochitl Gomez to win Season 32 of DWTS, making it particularly heartwarming to see him present the trophy to his wife. Naturally, the previous winners took advantage of the moment to remind everyone why they had triumphed the previous season, by performing an outstanding dance to “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan.
I’m absolutely thrilled to learn that the successful pair will make their triumphant comeback at the conclusion of the upcoming season, and it’s a pity that Joey Graziadei doesn’t have any immediate TV engagements lined up. He is undeniably one of the most considerate and admirable Bachelors in contemporary television, and his stint on DWTS only served to reinforce this. Given his genuine nature, it comes as no surprise that he took time to express gratitude towards his fiancee Kelsey Anderson and the fans, as evidenced by his message as well.

This season of DWTS wasn’t something I was particularly interested in before, but the show managed to draw me in completely. To put it simply, every dance pair in the competition caught my attention, both on stage and off. The talent displayed was incredible, and what made this season even more engaging was the formation of close bonds between the professional dancers and celebrities.
Speaking about Joey Graziadei, I’m optimistic that we’ll catch him on our TV screens again shortly. After his triumph in DWTS, he certainly needs some well-deserved rest and quality moments with Kelsey Anderson.
