We’re talking about none other than Tara Sutaria. Hailing from Mumbai, she is trained in classical ballet, modern dance, and Latin American dance. She has been a professional singer since she was seven years old and began her career as a singer in Disney India’s Big Bada Boom.

After appearing in The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir in 2012 and Oye Jassie in 2013, she had her major Bollywood debut much later, starring in Student Of The Year 2, which was produced by Karan Johar, alongside Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday.

Tara gained significant acclaim with her first movie, followed by roles in films such as Marjaavaan (2019), Heropanti 2, and Ek Villain Returns – all of which premiered in 2022. Breaking traditional norms, she starred in the survival thriller Apurva, which was released in 2023.

Beyond what was mentioned earlier, she’s also made appearances in songs such as “Mulaqat” by Prateek Kuhad and “Masakali 2.0,” sharing the screen with Sidharth Malhotra in these music videos.

Beyond her career endeavors, it was her connection with Ranbir Kapoor’s cousin, Aadar Jain, that garnered interest. Subsequently, they went their separate ways, and Aadar became engaged to Alekha Advani; a friend of both Tara and Aadar. Interestingly, she was frequently spotted spending time with them as if completing a trio.

In her fifth year working in the industry, Tara acknowledged that she hasn’t fully realized her full potential yet. She pointed out that she has been typecast as a “glamorous leading lady” in some films, which limited her roles due to audience perceptions about her.

In a conversation with Hindustan Times during the promotion of her movie Apurva, she mentioned that five years ago, when she first entered this industry, people didn’t realize I was capable of doing such a film. For a regrettably long time, they were unaware of my potential and skills.

Initially, there were rumors suggesting her involvement in Yash’s movie “Toxic”. But she refuted these allegations by posting a statement on Instagram. As of now, she hasn’t shared any additional updates about the project.
