‘Bridgerton,’ ‘Fallout’ Among ICG Publicists’ TV Campaign Nominees

As a devoted fan of the silver screen and small screen alike, I find myself utterly captivated by the announcement of this year’s Maxwell Weinberg Award nominees for television publicity campaigns. With my years spent immersed in the world of entertainment, I can attest to the herculean efforts that go into crafting a successful promotional campaign – one that not only entices audiences but also honors the creatives behind the scenes.

The International Cinematographers Guild’s Public Relations Team has revealed the contenders for the Maxwell Weinberg Award, honoring outstanding television promotional campaigns.

This accolade, being a part of the 62nd year’s ICG Publicists Awards, is given to celebrate exceptional work in publicity and promotion by active members of the ICG within the television industry. The recipients will be celebrated during an awards ceremony lunch on February 28, 2025, at the renowned Beverly Wilshire Hotel situated in Beverly Hills, California.

Here are the nominees: Agatha All Along (Marvel Television, Walt Disney Studios, Disney+), Bridgerton Season 3 (Shondalone, Netflix), Elsbeth (CBS Studios, CBS, Paramount), Fallout (Amazon MGM Studios, Amazon Prime Video), Family Guy Season 25 (20th Television Animation, FOX TV, Hulu) and Matlock (CBS Studios, CBS, Paramount+).

Tim Menke and Sheryl Main, co-chairs of the Publicists Award committee, express their excitement in announcing this year’s candidates for the Maxwell Weinberg Award in television promotion. They acknowledge that the dedication and talent displayed by our members this year is remarkable, and they are delighted to honor and highlight all the nominees.

On January 8, 2025, the list of candidates up for the Maxwell Weinberg Award for Outstanding Motion Picture Publicity Campaign will be revealed. Earlier, on November 26, they had already announced their initial group of nominees.

The guild encompasses roughly 10,000 professionals who specialize in various aspects of filmmaking, such as features, movies, television, streaming platforms, commercials, news broadcasts, documentaries, and more. Among its ranks are directors of photography, visual effects specialists, camera operators, assistants, loaders, utility workers, still photographers, digital imaging technicians, video controllers, and publicists.
