As a seasoned analyst who has witnessed the evolution of digital assets and their impact on traditional industries, I find this collaboration between Adidas and STEPN GO truly intriguing. It’s not every day we see the convergence of web3 and web2 worlds in such an innovative manner.
1,200 special edition Ultraboost 5 sneakers by Adidas and STEPN GO are being released, only accessible for those who own the NFTs.
In a recent development, Stepn Go, an updated version of the “move-to-earn” game Stepn, has partnered with global sports apparel company Adidas. This partnership has led to the launch of co-branded running shoes, known as the STEPN GO x Adidas Ultraboost 5 sneakers. As announced in a press release sent to crypto.news, these limited-edition shoes will showcase the Stepn Go logo and are expected to become available from December 13 onwards.
Stepn announces that this move signifies a fresh phase in their partnership’s story, which started back in April with the launch of the STEPN Genesis NFT collection. With the arrival of physical sneakers, there’s now a transition from digital collectibles to real-life products wearable by people, demonstrating how much the web3 sector has advanced, according to Shiti Manghani, CEO of STEPN.
1,200 sets of the jointly branded Ultraboost 5 shoes will be released for this campaign, exclusively for owners of the STEPN and STEPN GO x Adidas Genesis NFTs, according to the statement.
As a researcher involved in this project, I’m excited to share that the highly anticipated sneakers will exclusively debut on the MOOAR marketplace. The raffle for these coveted kicks will run from December 13th to December 17th.
