Jeremy Renner Has Only Seen Two ‘Avengers’ Films and “Didn’t Care About” Winning an Oscar

Jeremy Renner, known for roles in “Mayor of Kingstown,” “The Avengers” series, and “Hawkeye,” expressed at the Jeddah, Saudi Arabia-hosted Red Sea International Film Festival on Tuesday that he’s not particularly focused on winning an Oscar. He shared his enthusiasm for collaborating with actors like Tom Cruise, Ben Affleck, Kathryn Bigelow, and Taylor Sheridan, and mentioned that he has only watched two of the Marvel movies featuring his character from “The Avengers” series.

Renner admitted that he rarely watches his own films, but made an exception with the first “Avengers” movie and half of “Endgame.” Since the cast doesn’t get to witness any CGI-generated scenes while filming, he said it was interesting to see what truly unfolds on set.
