Ranbir Kapoor reveals everyone in Kapoor family was ‘nervous’ while meeting PM Narendra Modi; ‘hum sab ki hawa tight thi’

As a die-hard fan of the illustrious Kapoor clan, I must confess that witnessing this momentous encounter between the legendary Kapoors and our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi left me in a state of sheer euphoria! It was like seeing my favorite Bollywood stars gracefully navigating the halls of power, their nervousness palpable yet overshadowed by the warm and inviting aura that only the Prime Minister possesses.

The members of the Kapoor family, which includes Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor and others, had an encounter with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this meeting, they extended an invitation to him for the centennial birthday celebration of the renowned actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor. Reflecting on the event, Ranbir Kapoor confessed his nerves about it, while Kareena Kapoor described it as a once-in-a-lifetime, fulfillment of her dreams.

On December 11, 2024, the Prime Minister’s office made public a unique video from their meeting. In it, Ranbir Kapoor recounted his encounter with the politician. He described this meeting as a memorable day for his family and expressed his sincere thanks to the Prime Minister for bestowing them respect and generously spending time with them.

I, being an ardent fan, found pleasure in our engaging dialogue and even dared to ask a few personal queries. Admittedly, there was a palpable sense of apprehension in the air, including myself. Yet, the Prime Minister’s inviting demeanor swiftly dissipated any unease, making me feel more at ease.

Kapoor mentioned that he spoke in a very friendly manner. I believe our nerves were present and the tension was high among us. However, he was excellent at putting everyone at ease. I truly appreciate him.

Kareena Kapoor expressed her joy at having the opportunity to converse with the Prime Minister, describing it as a long-held dream come true. She stated, “I’ve always wanted to sit beside PM Modi and discuss with him. His positive energy is remarkable, and he truly stands as a world leader.” In a playful exchange during their chat, the politician inquired about her sons Taimur and Jeh, and even offered them a unique autograph.

Besides them, Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, along with Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and others, also posted images on their Instagram accounts following their encounter with Modi.

In honor of Raj Kapoor’s centennial birthday, a 100-film festival is being planned to take place simultaneously in ten different cities, featuring 40 cinemas spread across 135 screens.
