- Holiday part two will take place from December 22nd to 27th
- More bonuses and encounters to look forward to
- Participate in challenges to earn several rewards
As a seasoned Pokémon Go player with years of catching, battling, and exploring under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming Holiday Part Two event is shaping up to be an absolute blast! The double XP for catching Pokémon and the increased XP from Raid Battles are just what I need to level up my team before taking on those tough five-star raids.
As a dedicated Pokémon Go fan, I’m thrilled to share that the festivities are nearly upon us! Starting from December 17th, Niantic will kick off the first phase of their Holiday Event. Although we’ve got a few days to go before it goes live, I can hardly contain my excitement knowing what’s in store for the second part. This special event runs from December 22nd to 27th and promises even more rewards, Pokémon encounters, and engaging challenges to participate in.
During the Holiday Part Two event in Pokémon Go, you’ll earn twice as much Experience Points (XP) for capturing Pokémon, and Raid Battles will reward 50% more XP than normal. For the first time, Dedenne, Wooloo, and Dubwool will be dressed up for the holidays. Plus, if you’re fortunate, you might even find a shiny version of these special characters!
From December 25th through January 5th, the duration of Daily Adventure Incense will be doubled, offering a fantastic opportunity to track down Pokémon. Brave the outdoors during this period, and you might encounter Pokémon species such as Alolan Rattata, Murkrow, Blitzle, Tynamo, Absol, and others.
Regarding the raids, one-star encounters will include Litwick and Cetoddle, whereas Snorlax and Banette are found in three-star battles. If you’re up for a more difficult battle, you’ll find Giratina leading five-star raids, with Mega Latios and Abomasnow appearing in Mega Raids.
If you prefer quests, Field Research Tasks provide interactions with event-related Pokémon, whereas paid Time-Limited Research for $5 provides additional rewards such as a Glacial Lure Module, two Incense sticks, a Wooloo Jacket, and increased encounters. Lastly, Collection Challenges centered around catching and raiding will grant Stardust, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls to everyone involved.
Additionally, don’t forget to check out the Pokémon Go online shop where you can grab a special offer bundle during this period. This will ensure you have enough supplies at hand. Plus, there are some bonus items waiting for you when you use these deals!
