The diverse range of shows caters to every taste and preference, from the gripping “Dexter: Original Sin” to the heartwarming “The Madison,” starring the illustrious Michelle Pfeiffer.
Some exciting titles are set to debut on SkyShowtime in 2025, including a new series from Guy Ritchie, titled “Untitled Guy Ritchie Series,” starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren. This espionage thriller is called “The Agency“. Additionally, there’s a spin-off on Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone universe called “The Madison“, featuring Michelle Pfeiffer and Ella Purnell. Another series, “Sweetpea“, will star Michelle Pfeiffer. The prequel series to the popular show “Dexter” is coming back with a new twist in “Dexter: Original Sin” and the return of the original series in “Dexter: Resurrection“. These are just a few examples of the high-profile content that SkyShowtime will be offering in 2025.
On Monday, the collaborative streaming service formed by Comcast and Paramount Global revealed their lineup for the upcoming year. This includes fresh and unique series, locally produced content, and premieres of popular Hollywood movies that will be shown for the first time.
By the close of 2024, I’ll be proudly presenting over 20 original productions in my more than 20 markets, with another 10 originals slated for release on my platform in 2025. Among these upcoming releases are the highly-anticipated docu-series “Schmeichel,” which delves into the inspiring journey of legendary Danish soccer goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, and the riveting five-part documentary series “Recipe for Murder.” This gripping production hails from acclaimed documentarian Jose Gomez and follows the shocking murder case of Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta, killed by Daniel Sancho, a 29-year-old aspiring chef and son of one of Spain’s most revered actors.
In addition to the highly recommended original series on SkyShowtime, the Spanish psychological thriller Shades (Matices), the six-part Polish serial killer drama Langer, and the second season of the popular Nordic crime series Veronika will be added. These new additions are scheduled to premiere later in 2025, according to the streamer. Furthermore, the suspenseful Polish crime story Śleboda and the Spanish comedy Mamen Mayo will debut across all SkyShowtime markets on February 20 and February 27, respectively.
In the upcoming year, SkyShowtime will exclusively air new seasons of several popular series. Among them are season 2 of “Poker Face,” starring Natasha Lyonne, season 3 of “Gangs of London” with Joe Cole and Sopé Dìrísu, and season 2 of the prequel to “Yellowstone,” titled “1923,” featuring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. These will debut on March 10. Additionally, other returning favorites include season 3 of the psychological horror-drama “Yellowjackets” premiering February 27, and “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” a series based on Captain Christopher Pike’s tenure aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise, which is set to air as well.
Movie enthusiasts can look forward to SkyShowtime’s 2025 Hollywood lineup, which will premiere movies such as “Star Trek: Section 31” on February 7, followed by “Despicable Me 4” on February 10 and “MaXXXine” on February 16. The company announced that “Transformers One” and “Smile 2” are also planned to be released later in the year.
Under the leadership of CEO Monty Sarhan, SkyShowtime is expanding its reach among European audiences by forming alliances with television networks and other service providers. By mid-2024, it had secured partnerships with companies like MasOrange in Spain, Play in Poland, Magyar Telekom in Hungary, Yettel in Bulgaria, and also in Serbia.
Recently, they’ve added a Premium tier for SkyShowtime, which comes after the launch of an ad-tier earlier this year.

Below is a look at some of the key programming on SkyShowtime’s 2025 slate:
“Sweetpea,” begins on January 2nd, featuring Ella Purnell (“Yellowjackets”) in a narrative about finding one’s anger. This tale has been transformed from the 2017 C.J. Skuse book of the same name.
“Dexter: Original Sin,” debuting on January 30th. This prequel to “Dexter,” set in Miami, 1991, follows Dexter Morgan (Patrick Gibson) as he moves from student to a serial killer seeking vengeance.
As a seasoned gamer, I’m excitedly diving into “The Agency,” set for release on Feb. 10th. Starring the talented Michael Fassbender, alongside Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Richard Gere, this series is executive produced by none other than George Clooney. Based on the French hit drama “Le Bureau des Légendes,” it tells my story as a covert CIA agent named Martian. After years of living undercover, I’ve been ordered to abandon that life and return to London. This 10-part journey promises to be thrilling!
