Richa Chadha shares what kind of relationship she would want with Zuneyra: ‘I hope when my daughter grows…’

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for trends and a deep appreciation for the arts, I must say that Richa Chadha’s latest venture into film production with “Girls Will Be Girls” is nothing short of inspiring. Her journey as an artist, mother, and producer serves as a beacon of empowerment for women everywhere.

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s first-ever production titled “Girls Will Be Girls” can now be streamed on Amazon Prime Video starting from December 18. On her birthday, Richa celebrated not only as a mother but also with her two new creations – the film and her daughter, Zuneyra Ida Fazal. Recently, in an interview, Richa shared about the kind of relationship she desires to have with her child. She expressed her hope that when her daughter grows up, they will share a bond characterized by honesty, openness, friendliness, and trust.

During a Zoom interview, Richa Chadha discussed her hoped-for connection with her daughter Zuneyra, noting similarities to her own bond with her mom. As a seasoned actress and now producer, she expressed that their relationship would likely be characterized by sincerity and pragmatism.

She recognized and appreciated the liberty her mom bestowed upon her, and she voiced her wish for her child to develop a similar warm, cordial, and trust-filled bond with her in the future.

As a lifestyle expert, I would personally express it like this: When someone asked me about the kind of movies I wish my daughter, Zuneyra, would appreciate, I shared my hope that she’d embrace a wide variety. My partner, Ali Fazal, and I aspire for her to steer clear of video game addiction and instead discover the delight in immersing herself in diverse cinematic styles.

The actress from Heermandi proposed an idea: Introducing her to films in Punjabi and French, in addition to Hindi and English, could be a fantastic beginning. She likened this to the way parents introduce children to diverse types of food – allowing them to savor simple meals like khichdi while also enjoying treats such as pizza.

In the film “Meanwhile, Girls Will Be Girls,” directed by Shuchi Talati, actors Kani Kusruti, Preeti Panigrahi, and Kesav Binoy Kiron take on significant roles.

In the heart of this captivating tale, I, a die-hard fan, find myself immersed in the world of Mira Kishore, brilliantly portrayed by Preeti Panigrahi. At the tender age of 18, she holds the prestigious position of Head Prefect, but everything changes when Srinivas (Kesav Binoy Kiron), a fresh new face, graces our school halls. As sparks fly between us, this budding romance is subtly observed by none other than Mira’s mother, Anila (Kani Kusruti). The anticipation is killing me!

The movie had its debut at renowned film events, such as the Sundance Film Festival, and can currently be watched on Amazon Prime Video.
