- Azur Lane is launching its festive event with the rather un-Christmasy name of Substellar Crepuscule
- New ultra-rare shipgirls, mini-games, event additions and more
- There’s also plenty of rewards on offer for those participating in event missions
Regarding Christmas events, it seems that Azur Lane has outdone others with their unique naming. Instead of opting for traditional names like Winter Wonderland or Festive Fight, they’ve chosen something distinct – Substellar Crepuscule. Their uniqueness is commendable, but the real excitement lies in the introduction of two ultra-rare shipgirls and additional features!
Initially, let’s pause the upcoming event and focus on the introduction of two new characters, Fritz Rumey and Z52. Additionally, we have two more unique ships joining them: the extremely rare Druisburg and the elite Z11. Both groups will be available for Limited Construction with increased chances. Moreover, there is another elite ship character, Z9, that can be obtained as a milestone reward by accumulating Points (PT). Lastly, special Points can earn you the previously mentioned Z52 by completing event missions.
Absolutely! Before we even reach the main event, Substellar Crepuscule starts running all the way up to January 1st. During this period, the announced shipgirls will debut along with nine fresh skins. There’s a wide range of activities and mini-games available for you to participate in. With Blessings and New Year’s Invitations, you can select one of several highlighted shipgirls as a prize.

Apart from what’s already mentioned, this event will also include repeats of the Night Princess’s Festive Feast and Manjuu Curling games. By finishing daily missions over seven days and joining in these mini-games, you’ll have a chance to get a unique vampire-themed outfit related to the Night Princess’s Festive Feast, along with other exclusive rewards like special furniture.
Lastly, you’ll notice some enhancements in the store and a fresh META shipgirl joining the ranks, specifically Admiral Hipper META. She can be obtained through Limited Construction, Stage Drops, or by trading PT in the shop.
