The reunion at Dhirubhai International School was not what fans might have expected, but it sparked excitement that could light up Mumbai’s bustling streets.

As a devoted follower, I’d rephrase it like this: This year, at Dhirubhai International School in Mumbai, I was among the crowd that included shining stars such as Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai, along with Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan. The event also welcomed Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor who graced us with their presence together after a long time, as their kids took part in the festivities. Although it wasn’t the romantic reunion from Jab We Met that fans might have hoped for, seeing them together again ignited plenty of excitement online with one fan exclaiming, “Jab They Met Again.

In a popular video shared online, Kareena Kapoor Khan can be spotted several rows in front of Shahid Kapoor at the gathering. At the time, Shahid was dressed in a white T-shirt under a blue denim shirt, while Kareena chose an ensemble consisting of rust orange and black colors.

In the videos and pictures available, it appears that although they were present together, there was no interaction between them. Yet, they were both spotted grinning – not exchanging smiles, but beaming with pride as they watched their children put up a show on stage.

Online users swiftly commented on the viral video, expressing admiration by saying, “The Ambanis certainly deserve appreciation as it seems to be Shahid and Mira in the background of Kareena and Saif… Wow, I could feel my ‘Jab We Met’ emotions stirring!

In another universe, someone penned, “Jab We Met,” while another echoed, “Years later, Geet and Aditya!” One individual expressed, “They will always be favorites as Geet and Aditya.” One person rephrased it as, “Jab They Met again.” Another stated, “Bringing back all those memories, Jab We Met once more.

In the same video, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who played Singham Again, can be seen enthusiastically cheering for her older son, Taimur Ali Khan, as he takes the stage. Not only that, but she was also seen snapping photos of the event on her phone while enjoying the show with her husband, Saif Ali Khan, and filmmaker Karan Johar by her side.

At the same event, Shahid Kapoor’s daughter, Misha Kapoor, was also in attendance. Interestingly, though they were both there, Shahid and Kareena kept their space apart from one another.

Each year, Dhirubhai International School hosted a glittering gathering with a notable guest list that included Shah Rukh Khan, who was joined by his spouse Gauri Khan and their daughter Suhana Khan. They all enthusiastically supported his younger son, AbRam Khan, at the event.

At the event, AbRam joined forces on stage with Aaradhya Bachchan, the daughter of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan. Notably, both Amitabh Bachchan and the entire family were present. Additionally, Genelia D’Souza and her husband, Riteish Deshmukh, graced the occasion as well.
