It’s time to say goodbye to the Upside Down.
Netflix confirmed on a Friday update that the fifth season of “Stranger Things” has been completed in its filming stage, which marks exactly eleven months since the team resumed production in Atlanta on January 8, working tirelessly on wrapping up this much-loved show’s final chapter.
For close to a decade now, we’ve been sharing this tale,” Ross Duffer penned on Instagram. “A number of our cast members joined us back when they were mere children, around ten or eleven years old. It wasn’t merely a show for them; it was an integral part of their childhood experiences. They’ve matured in front of us, evolving beyond just actors – they’ve become like kin.
He also mentioned, “However, our crew isn’t just a team. They are an integral part of our family. Many of them have been with us since the start, and their loyalty and enthusiasm have been vital to our success. Each person involved has been committed to wrapping up this story in a way that satisfies everyone. They’ve invested not only their professional skills but also their emotions into it, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements. We can hardly wait to unveil it to you all next year. Until then — goodbye for now.

After wrapping up another season of Stranger Things, I wasn’t alone in expressing my feelings on social media. My on-screen brother, Noah Schnapp, who is Will Byers, also shared a heartfelt collection of photos and a long message on Instagram, reminiscing about his journey as one of the show’s key characters.
2 days back, I wrapped up my last scene playing Will Byers, and it’s left me feeling quite emotional. As I turn the page on this chapter of my life, I can’t help but feel an eternal sense of gratitude for the amazing folks I’ve encountered and the invaluable lessons about life and career that this decade-long journey has taught me.
Later on, he proceeded to disclose the top ten insights he gained from the team, which comprised of Shawn Levy, the Duffer brothers, Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, and Charlie Heaton.
As a child, I often felt like a misfit, struggling to find my place among others. Sharing my journey through life under the public eye, during all those awkward stages and cringe-worthy moments laid bare for all to witness, has certainly been an extraordinary journey. Yet, it’s been a privilege to walk this path alongside my remarkable co-stars who comprehend this feeling in a way that nobody else can.
Schnapp expressed his feelings, “Working on Stranger Things was not just a job, but a lifelong aspiration that came true thanks to the Duffers. I’m grateful they believed in me as a 10-year-old and gave me such an important role. Along with this incredible cast and crew, we’ve created something truly unique. I can’t wait for everyone to witness the final chapter. To me, Stranger Things is more than just a story – it’s etched in my heart forever.

As Mike Wheeler’s alter ego, I find myself still reeling in disbelief that we’ve wrapped up filming for the show. Can’t believe it’s all over!
As a gamer, I penned down on Instagram, “I’ve been gaming with this crew for a whole year, and I’ll dearly miss each one of us and our characters. When I think back to the game, I see that first screenshot – a group of us, laughing and creating something we thought was awesome, yet had no idea what adventures awaited us. Somehow, we’re still those gamers, and I’m grateful to stand by their side today. I hope you’ll enjoy this season as much as I do. See you all next level!
Brown, who often portrays the central figure Eleven, recently posted a series of pictures showing her transformation throughout the years as this character. However, she decided to keep the description brief, simply saying “with love, el.” in the caption.
Back in November, Netflix revealed the titles for season five’s episodes. Here’s a sneak peek into what we gamers can anticipate: “My Advance,” “The Disappearance of _,” “The Trap of Turnbow,” “Mystic,” “Chaotic Broadcaster,” “Breakout from Camazotz,” and “The Suspension Bridge” or simply “Upside-Down.
As the streamer disclosed all eight titles, it appeared to omit a portion from the second one’s title, “The Vanishing Of.” This ambiguity suggests that Netflix might not yet be ready to divulge who or what is disappearing, or it could just be a nostalgic reference to the first episode, “The Disappearance of Will Byers.
The upcoming final season of the popular show, Stranger Things, will feature a leap in time and begin roughly one and a half years following the occurrences of season four, set during the autumn of 1987. It’s expected to premiere sometime in the next year.
