‘American Primeval’ (Limited Series)
Stream on January 9
As a movie enthusiast, I’d put it this way: “Pete Berg directed the gripping limited series, ‘American Primeval.’ Set in 1857, this Western tale delves into the struggle for power in the untamed wilderness where justice was scarce. The show weaves together multiple narratives to depict how these stories intersected amidst the chaos and violence that characterized the early days of American history.
Featuring an extensive lineup of talented actors like Taylor Kitsch, Betty Gilpin, Kim Coates, Jai Courtney, Kyle Bradley Davis, Dane DeHaan, Preston Mota, Nick Hargrove, Derek Hinkey, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Shawnee Pourier, Joe Tippett, and Shea Whigham, this series delivers a gripping and thrilling story about enduring at any cost. Starting on January 9, you can catch American Primeval streaming online.
‘XO, Kitty’ (Season 2)
Stream on January 16
In a continuation of the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” movie series, we have “XO, Kitty,” a romantic comedy-drama that centers around Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart), a teenage matchmaker who embarks on her own romantic escapades at a boarding school previously attended by her late mother. Having traveled far to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, Kitty soon discovers the intricacies of relationships when she finds herself entangled in them. Despite thinking she knew everything about love, she realizes she knows nothing. With a new semester starting at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS), Kitty decides to concentrate on her studies and uncover the mysteries of her mother’s past. “XO, Kitty Season 2” is available for streaming on January 16.
‘The Night Agent’ (Season 2)

In its second season, the series titled “The Night Agent” continues, focusing on FBI agent Peter Sutherland, portrayed by Gabriel Basso, who serves as a night operator for action calls at the White House. When Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan), directed by her aunt and uncle, makes a call, she unwittingly draws them into the heart of a vast, intricate conspiracy.
In the U.S. government, someone with a hidden allegiance lurks at the top echelons, prompting Peter to pursue this traitor and shield Rose from the same individuals who orchestrated her aunt and uncle’s demise. As the thrilling second season unfolds, Brittany Snow becomes part of the ensemble as Alice, Peter’s advisor in Thailand, guiding him through a fresh assignment. The Night Agent Season 2 premieres on January 23.
‘Mo’ (Season 2)
Stream on January 30
The show, titled “Mo“, is a highly praised blend of comedy and drama that chronicles the life of Mohammed “Mo” Najjar (Mo Amer), a Palestinian refugee striving for asylum and U.S. citizenship. Co-created by Amer and Ramy Youssef, this series draws inspiration from Amer’s real-life experiences as a Palestinian refugee residing in Houston, Texas.
In its second and last season, Mo’s long-awaited asylum journey concludes, but since he’s found himself stranded without a passport in a borderless state, Mo must navigate his way back to Houston to avoid missing his family’s asylum hearing. The series, featuring talented artists like Farah Bsieso, Teresa Ruiz, and Tobe Nwigwe, premieres on January 30.

Title character ‘Owen Hendricks’ (played by Noah Centineo), initially a lawyer, was unexpectedly drafted to work for the CIA post-college.
