Marvel Rivals: Every LEAKED Upcoming MAP

As a hardcore gamer who’s been playing hero-shooters for the past decade, I can confidently say that Marvel Rivals is the best thing to happen to the genre since… well, Overwatch! With its impressive roster of 33 playable characters and the promise of more on the horizon, it’s a dream come true for any Marvel fan.

The game has been an instant sensation with 20 million players worldwide, and I’ve found myself immersed in hilarious clips, heated role-queue drama, and even some broken characters that keep me on my toes. The competitive scene is thriving, making it a genuine competitor for the fabled ‘Overwatch Killer.’

The four initial maps (Wakanda, Klyntar, Asgard, and Spider-Islands) are diverse, but I believe Marvel Rivals could benefit from expanding its selection. The upcoming maps, such as Arakko, Krakoa, Empire of Eternal Night/New York, Collector’s Theme Park, and Thebes, Egypt, sound incredibly exciting!

The potential addition of Genosha at its peak or Xandar, home of the Nova Corps, would be a dream come true for me. I’ve always been a fan of those locations in Marvel comics, so it would be fantastic to see them as playable maps in the game.

Ego the Living Planet could also make for an exciting map given the inclusion of sentient islands. The potential for new modes like Capture the Flag and a possible Fantastic 4 team-up in future updates has me eagerly awaiting each new season.

All in all, Marvel Rivals has quickly become one of my favorite games, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next! Who knows, maybe we’ll even get a ‘Secret Invasion’ event with Skrulls disguised as heroes in the game (but don’t tell Spider-Man about that one).

Marvel Rivals is developing into an impressive hero-shooter game, showing potential to compete with similar titles. Ever since its launch on December 6, 2024, it has attracted a whopping 20 million players globally, where gamers engage in thrilling combat as their beloved Marvel characters, both heroes and villains.

In little over a month, this game has exploded into an incredible sensation, producing countless amusing videos, heated discussions about roles, character malfunctions, and a bustling professional circuit. It’s being compared to Overwatch’s legendary successor by some.

Marvel Rivals, boasting 33 characters (with even more joining soon), delivers an extraordinary multiplayer hero-shooting adventure perfect for you and your pals!

At present, the game offers a restricted variety of playable map options. Although these maps offer distinct experiences due to their individual game modes, enhancing the diversity of Marvel Rivals’ map collection could be achieved by incorporating additional locations beyond Wakanda, Klyntar, Asgard, and Spider-Islands.

As a die-hard Marvel enthusiast, I’m excited to share some insight I picked up from the Marvel Rivals News – my go-to source for all things Marvel! They recently hinted at the map locations we can expect in upcoming seasons, along with some tantalizing possibilities that have me on the edge of my seat.

Arakko

Marvel’s Rivals series seems to emphasize its sentient planets, with Arakko being the first – a living island inhabited by numerous mutants such as Apocalypse and his spouse, Genesis. Similar to Genosha, Arakko serves as one of the few strongholds for mutant civilization, alongside Krakoa.

Arakko is rumored to be a Convoy (Payload) map.

Given that Storm and Magneto are characters in Rivals who hail from the same realm known as the Great Ring, it’s plausible that this map could involve their storyline. In fact, it’s conceivable that game developer NetEase might introduce special skins for them to reflect their regal status within Arakko.

Potential points of interest include Arak Coral on the horizon or the Great Ring’s governing seat.

Krakoa

One alternate description for another famous mutant sanctuary could be ‘The Isle with Humanoid Stride,’ known as Krakoa. These intelligent landmasses, initially components of a single entity named Okkara, share anagram connections with one another.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but feel a pang of nostalgia when I think about Krakoa – once a vibrant refuge for mutants, now a mere echo of its former grandeur, consumed by the relentless march of time. Many mutants have departed, yet some remain steadfast, safeguarding the very spirit that defines it. Insider information hints at a map merging aspects from the present and 2099, introducing captivating temporal complexities. The adventure could lead us to explore Krakoa at its peak and in a visionary future form.

Krakoa is anticipated to function as a Conquest (Seize the Territory) map, possibly spanning across three distinct phases to illustrate its time-based changes.

Empire of Eternal Night / New York

This map, referred to as the “Empire of Eternal Night,” seems to be a blend of what was once New York City, possibly altered through some cataclysmic event like death or an entrance into the Darkforce Dimension.

In the game’s storyline, Cloak & Dagger appeared when New York was ruled by Dracula. They quickly became part of the brave group resisting the Empire of Eternal Night.

Similar to Arakko, this map will be a Convoy (Payload) map and may include an elevator to Midtown.

The map might emphasize the 2099 timeline from Marvel comics, showcasing well-known spots such as the Avengers Tower and other famous Marvel sites.

Collector’s Theme Park

As someone who has spent countless hours immersed in the Marvel universe, I can confidently say that the map unveiling Taneleer Tivan’s unusual assortment of potent relics piques my curiosity like few other discoveries have before. Having closely followed the exploits of XOX Leaks, a well-respected figure in the Marvel Rivals community, I am convinced that this find indicates a substantial role for The Collector. The intrigue surrounding his collection and the implications for the future of the Marvel universe are palpable, and I eagerly anticipate seeing how the story unfolds.

By the year 2099, the Collector had taken Mantis, Psylocke, and Jeff captive. However, they managed to break free and returned to their respective teams.

Thebes, Egypt

Although not yet officially confirmed, there are rumors suggesting that a new location, Thebes, Egypt, might be under development. Some speculate that it could be introduced together with a potential new game mode such as Capture the Flag, possibly in an upcoming release.

Fans of Marvel may be familiar with Thebes being the residence of Dr. Badr, better known as the Hunter’s Moon. Possible settings could be Robotopia or the Theban Necropolis from the year 2099.

Maps We Want To See

Marvel and NetEase boast a multitude of possibilities for Marvel Rivals’ map selections. Notable spots such as Genosha during its prime or Xandar, the base of the Nova Corps, could make for thrilling inclusions.

The Living Planet named Ego might equally serve as an exciting chart, considering its intriguing addition of sentient islands.

Currently, these leaks provide a sneak peek at potential future additions. Although not confirmed, more maps could significantly boost the game’s diversity and minimize the monotony of existing modes. It’s important to note that these are the same individuals who shared the Fantastic Four and Ultron leaks, indicating their credibility.

As a thrilled fan, I can’t contain my excitement as Marvel Rivals’ Season 0 is wrapping up this week, paving the way for Season 1! The wait won’t be much longer until we’re inundated with fresh content, including those tantalizingly leaked heroes.
