Your laughter, your humor, your talent in drag – all of it was captivating, but above all, I cherished your friendship.

British drag artist and contestant from RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. season 3, Bimini Bon Boulash, expressed on Instagram that she was completely taken aback and deeply sorry about something. Meanwhile, Cheryl (formerly known as Cheryl Hole) posted: “I will always adore you, Viv.

Originally hailing from North Wales, Williams found his drag persona inspired by the renowned fashion designer Vivienne Westwood. He gained notoriety when he was appointed as the U.K.’s drag representative for the American reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2015. In 2019, he claimed victory in the inaugural U.K. season with an electrifying lip-sync performance of “I’m Your Man” by Wham!

Lately, the drag artist has been seen playing the role of Childcatcher in the touring production of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” across the U.K., and appearing in the 2016 film “Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie”. Additionally, they made an appearance on the BBC Three show titled “The Vivienne Takes On Hollywood” back in 2020.

I, a devoted admirer, was deeply disheartened to learn about The Vivienne’s passing. Her extraordinary talent, infectious humor, and unwavering dedication to the world of drag served as a constant inspiration for many. She will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will continue to shine brightly as a symbol of creativity and authenticity – truly embodying the essence of a genuine champion. My thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this challenging period.
