In a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Ram Kapoor shared that his daughter Sia felt anxious after watching an anti-smoking commercial on TV. Although she didn’t explicitly ask him to stop smoking, she inquired if he would eventually die from his daily 40-cigarette habit. This concern led the Loveyatri actor to break free from this practice.
After mentioning it earlier, Kapoor shared that following the mentioned event, he had a couple of smokes with Saif Ali Khan, his co-star in Humshakals. The Big Bull actor disclosed that Saif only smokes when he’s drinking. “He no longer smokes,” Ram clarified, “but when he’s having alcohol, he prefers smoking.
Looking back, Ram Kapoor mentioned that he once shared a cigarette with Khan at his villa in Mauritius, and on another occasion, they both smoked, but he can’t recall the location. However, it’s worth noting that he used to smoke continuously for work purposes, but it’s been a decade since he quit smoking.
Currently, Ram’s latest work appearance was in Yudhra. Regarding Saif’s upcoming collaboration with Siddharth Anand, the project is rumored to be called “Jewel Thief: The Red Sun Chronicles”.
