Azaad: Rasha Thadani admits she doesn’t step out of house without THIS as she reflects on paparazzi culture; ‘There have been so many…’

Rasha Thadani, daughter of Raveena Tandon, is preparing for the launch of her first movie titled Azaad, which also stars Aaman Devgan and Ajay Devgn. Interestingly, Rasha has already garnered popularity on the internet and among paparazzi before venturing into acting. More recently, she shared insights about her rapport with the paparazzi, confessing that she never leaves home without applying kajal and lip gloss.

Reflecting on my chat with India Today, I can’t help but reminisce about my initial brush with the limelight – it was at the hair salon, believe it or not! The paparazzi were there, snapping away, and they seemed to have made a bit of a mix-up. You see, they thought I was none other than my mom, Raveena Tandon, all because we shared the same car number. But that day, little did I know, the paparazzi would become an integral part of my daily life from then on.

In an interview about handling paparazzi, the actress from Azaad openly acknowledges that she’s grown accustomed to it. “I’m always ready. I never leave home without my eyeliner and lip balm. If I’m not wearing makeup, I ensure I don a pair of sunglasses,” she shared.

Later on, Rasha elaborated on the initial impact of always being under public scrutiny. She confessed that following the wrap of her movie, there was an escalation in paparazzi attention. Initially, she felt anxious about what images might surface.

Rasha expressed her concerns by saying, “I often worry about how I’ll appear in this photo, fearing I might look strange or awkward, much like times when I’ve watched videos of myself and thought, ‘Oh dear, why do I look or act that way?’

As I’ve had more time in the spotlight, I’ve come to appreciate the role of paparazzi in my life. Nowadays, I see them not just as cameras but as people with their own stories and experiences. This shift in perspective has made it easier for me to build genuine connections with them, and I no longer feel intimidated by their lenses.

Abhishek Kapoor’s Azaad is poised to release on January 17, 2025.
