With regards to the Chrisley family, they’ve been garnering a lot of attention lately due to their high-profile leaders, Todd and Julie Chrisley. They’re currently serving prison sentences as they try to overturn their convictions for bank fraud, tax evasion, and related charges. Lately, however, one of their offspring, Chase Chrisley, aged 28, has been in the news. He was apprehended on allegations of assaulting a bar manager, but now his representative is defending him, insisting he’s not guilty.
A reported incident involving Chase Chrisley occurred at Twin Peaks restaurant in Atlanta on January 6th. As per the Associated Press, Chrisley was believed to be intoxicated and requested to depart by manager Brendon Nash. However, it is claimed that Chrisley, a former star of “Chrisley Knows Best”, refused to vacate the premises. Subsequently, it’s alleged that he physically assaulted Nash, striking him twice, including while Nash was on the phone dialing 911, as captured in a call recording. Before the police arrived, Chrisley reportedly departed with a driver.
Lately, a representative for the star, Adam Ambrose, issued a statement to the Associated Press after his arrest on January 9th. In this statement, Ambrose refuted allegations that Todd Chrisley’s eldest son had physically harmed anyone, and he also provided details about what happened during that night.
That particular night, Chase Chrisley made the prudent decision of summoning a taxi to drive him home instead. There was no incidence of him attacking anyone. His intention was simply to settle his bill and depart peacefully.
It’s important to note that the individual previously associated with USA Network has not yet been officially accused of any crime at this point in time. According to a police report, during an alleged bar altercation, his behavior was described as disrespectful and aggressive. He was arrested on suspicion of simple battery. The guest star of many Unlocked Podcast episodes was later released on a $10,000 bond on January 11.

More on the Chrisleys
In her effort to overturn her sentencing for prison, Julie Chrisley doesn’t mince words when speaking directly to the judge.
After Chase Chrisley completes his jail term, his parents continue to be incarcerated. Todd Chrisley was initially sentenced to 12 years at Florida’s Federal Prison Camp, which is set to close, but both his and his wife’s sentences were later shortened. At the moment, Julie is serving her original seven-year term following a resentencing hearing in 2024. Julie has filed an appeal as part of their legal team’s efforts to secure their release from prison.
In my opinion, as a movie reviewer, I must highlight that the children have become the voice for Todd and Julie Chrisley in this ongoing legal saga. Amongst them, Savannah Chrisley, their eldest daughter, has been quite outspoken about the legal proceedings, expressing her belief that her parents have unfairly encountered challenges within the justice system. Furthermore, she has brought attention to the living conditions her parents allegedly faced during their incarceration. During an episode of Unlocked, Savannah and Chase made claims that their parents were without air conditioning and that Julie was confronted by snakes in her living space.
Regarding the latest family issue at hand, Chase Chrisley hasn’t issued a formal statement as of now, leaving us uncertain whether he plans to speak up about it directly. It’s also unknown if local Georgia authorities will provide additional details. The situation is developing and we’ll have to wait and see.
