Larry June Reflects on “Jan 14th”

2024 was a remarkable year for Larry June, marked by hit singles such as “Meet Me in Napa,” “Like a Mack,” and “Dreams.” His album, titled “Doing It For Me,” was released in early August, further solidifying his success.

Approximately two weeks into the year 2025, the rapper debuted his initial release for 2025 – a standalone track titled “Jan 14th.

In a series of thoughtful and contemplative verses, June honors his late friend OG Maco, who sadly passed away on December 26th.

As a gamer, I can’t help but feel the loss of another cherished ally. It’s hard to put into words what it’s like to lose someone so close, especially when our paths had diverged. Yet, even in our estrangement, I remain grateful for the times we shared and the impact they made on my gaming journey.

Additionally, the two-minute clip has been released, accompanied by its music video which takes place within June’s visually appealing residence. Currently, the song “Jan 14th” can be streamed on YouTube alone. However, according to an Instagram post, June intends to transfer the track onto Apple Music and Spotify in the future. Keep an eye out for updates.
