Gracie Abrams Shines in Stunning Chanel Campaign Directed by Sofia Coppola!

That’s so true: Gracie Abrams stars in Chanel‘s new spring-summer 2025 pre-collection campaign.

Following an exceptional year that saw her sharing the stage with Taylor Swift during the Eras Tour and gracing Saturday Night Live, the Grammy-nominated artist has now been announced as the latest Chanel ambassador. Notably, she had previously showcased her style in Chanel at both the Grammys and Met Gala events.

For the latest campaign, the 25-year-old model struck a pose for photographer Craig McDean. This project, creatively guided by filmmaker Sofia Coppola, who is both an inspiration and close associate of Chanel, is a blend of photography, music, and cinema. According to the brand, it embodies a contemporary, feminine take on the Chanel world. Furthermore, certain images portray the model as a cinematic heroine, echoing characters from Coppola’s films.

Prior to their collaboration on the campaign, they hadn’t previously met. However, it’s said that the filmmaker went with her daughter to one of Abrams’ packed shows at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. In an interview with Elle, Abrams expressed how it was a long-held dream for her to work with Coppola in any capacity, like a distant wish to know Sofia in some way. “Being on that set, simply as an observer, felt like such a blessing…It was a truly wonderful experience,” Abrams shared. As she’s delved deeper into Coppola’s work, her feelings and experiences resonate more profoundly with her, and as she matures into womanhood, the impact grows even stronger.

Coppola also commented: “Gracie’s beauty wasn’t her only asset; she was a fantastic fit for our campaign because she is intelligent, considerate, a principled writer, and possesses an uncommon grace. In my opinion, Chanel symbolizes refinement and culture.
