The First Look at Salehe Bembury x PUMA

In July, Salehe Bembury hinted at an upcoming collaboration with PUMA through a cryptic Instagram post showing him holding a “PUMA TOP SECRET IDEAS” folder in front of a plane bearing the PUMA logo. A few weeks later, PUMA provided additional information about this partnership. It was disclosed that Bembury would be working with the PUMA Hoops team, developing a signature shoe, and participating in the selection of athletes.

Approximately half a year after, Bembury has returned to Instagram to unveil the initial glimpses of what his PUMA era could be styled as.

Instead of having a design like basketball sneakers, the initial PUMA collaborations by Salehe Bembury feature his signature vibrant color schemes, reminiscent more of running shoes.

The midsole sports a vibrant blue texture, accentuated by its undulating pattern, and the upper predominantly showcases a lime green tone, further enhanced with a brown web-like design. The PUMA logo on this collaborative shoe has a navy speckled formstrip, and a yellow Salehe Bembury emblem graces the side of the upper.
