During a discussion on his forthcoming movie Sky Force with Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya was questioned about his bond with actress Janhvi Kapoor, who he refers to as his ‘almost family’. After a brief pause, the young actor praised her immense acting talent. He emphasized that she portrayed a genuine character in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, much like he will do in his upcoming action film.
Veer shared with the publication that since many of his friends are actors, he doesn’t pass up the opportunity to seek their guidance. Given her extensive experience, he took a lot of advice from her as well. To clarify, Janhvi is the girlfriend of Veer’s brother Shikhar Pahariya.
Recently, Veer was honored with the opportunity to interact with Squadron Leader Ajjamada B. Devayya’s family – his wife and daughters. Their valor has significantly influenced Veer’s character portrayal in Sky Force.
He swiftly posted on Instagram, offering several peeks into his heartfelt encounter. In the accompanying text, he admitted it was challenging to express the intense emotions stirred within him following the meeting with Mrs. Sundari Devayya, the wife of the esteemed Mahavir Chakra awardee, Squadron Leader Ajjamada B. Devayya, and their daughters, Smitha and Preetha, in Bengaluru.
During a conversation about his character, he shared, “Over the past 3.5 years, I’ve delved deep into understanding the life and heroic deeds of the remarkable man I portray as ‘Tabby’ in ‘Sky Force’. I believed I grasped his bravery and selflessness, but today, hearing stories from his family—those who knew him, cherished him, and still celebrate his legacy—touched me profoundly and left me feeling both moved and humbled.
