There’s been quite a buzz surrounding Tom Holland and Zendaya’s Christmas festivities in 2024. The chatter escalated when she was spotted wearing a glittering ring on her left ring finger at the 2025 Golden Globes, mere days later. Interestingly, it was previously known that the Spider-Man actor was planning to visit America for the holidays this year, before proposing. It seems they’ve already got plans in place for the following year as well.

Before the holiday season, Holland had a chat with Dish Podcast that appeared casual at first, but might have been hinting at future events. During this conversation, he mentioned he would be spending the holidays with his “girlfriend’s family,” although he kept quiet about the exact location where they celebrated and where he later proposed to his long-term partner – a surprise he didn’t reveal ahead of time.

Additionally, he shared his plans for making their annual celebration much grander next year, with himself and Zendaya at the forefront.

Next time around, instead of visiting each family individually every year, let’s aim for a gathering where all the families can come together. That’s what I’m envisioning for our next get-together. Unfortunately, being actors, we’re not great at organizing things, so we haven’t managed to make it happen yet. But the idea is there!

Moving forward, since they’re now reportedly engaged, blending their two families’ Christmas celebrations will be more logical. Beyond their future plans, Holland also shared delightful memories of his family’s past holiday gatherings, describing them as “lively” – in a positive connotation.

A lively, conversational Christmas atmosphere prevails in our household, given that my father is a comedian. Growing up, we were encouraged to share stories and engage in conversation during meals. The dinner table was always bustling with talkative individuals, and even the shyest among us would find themselves joining in the chatter eventually. It’s a jovial Christmas celebration for our family.

It’s accurate to say that Tom Holland’s father, Dominic Holland, is quite talkative. Following Tom’s engagement to the actress from the Challengers, he revealed details about the proposal, disclosing that Tom had discussed it with Zendaya’s father before proposing, among other things. It’s worth noting that Dominic is not only a comedian but also an award-winning author in his own right.

Navigating holidays can sometimes be challenging, especially given the demanding professions chosen by Holland and Zendaya, as well as the geographical gaps between their families. Yet, it seems he’s prepared with a strategy for managing these significant life events ahead. At the very least, there appears to be an initial idea brewing.
