Trevor Noah to Return as Grammys Host

Trevor Noah is set to return as host of the 2025 Grammys.

The previous host of The Daily Show and current comedian, who has hosted the last four Grammys, is set to appear on our program as this year’s music event may take on a more somber tone due to the recent LA wildfires.

Or:

The entertainer who used to run The Daily Show and has been the Grammy host for the past four years is joining us, with the Grammys potentially being a less lively celebration this time around due to the Los Angeles wildfires.

Or simply:

The ex-host of The Daily Show and four-time Grammy emcee is now part of our show, as this year’s music event could be more muted due to LA wildfires.

As a devoted fan, I’m eagerly anticipating the official announcement about this year’s Grammy host, which is scheduled to arrive approximately two weeks prior to the event itself. In years past, Noah has graced the stage as the host, but it seems that this time around, there might be a slight shift in the timeline of his involvement.

Last week, it was revealed that the Grammys are going ahead with their awards ceremony scheduled for February at the Crypto.com Arena, broadcasted on CBS. However, this event will also serve as a major fundraiser to aid wildfire recovery efforts and pay tribute to the courage and devotion of emergency responders.

Even though it was only a few days before the news of the Grammy Awards going ahead with their February 2nd show, various sources had hinted to The Hollywood Reporter that discussions were underway within the Recording Academy about whether the Grammys should be delayed or broadcast as a charity event instead.

Despite the Grammys going ahead as scheduled along with the Clive Davis pre-Grammy gala marking its 50th anniversary and the MusiCares Person of the Year tribute to The Grateful Dead, all three major recording labels plus Spotify and other music organizations have decided not to host their usual pre-Grammy events.

Noah often expresses his delight in having a prime viewing spot for the stellar performances at the Grammys. Throughout his hosting years, he was the emcee for the 2021 Grammy Awards, which took place during the pandemic and were held outside close to the then-Staples Center (now known as Crypto.com Arena) in Los Angeles.

More to come.
