- Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set boasts 49 new cards
- Bonus Diamond Legendary card: Grunty comes with the Golden version
- This is the biggest mini-set to date
Hearthstone has unveiled its newest Mini-Set, infusing a science fiction flavor and a distinct StarCraft influence into the well-known card game. This latest Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set, the largest mini-set so far, promises 49 fresh cards that will shake up the game dynamics.
In this update, there are 11 additional cards beyond the typical 38, making a total of 49 cards. Among these, you’ll find four Legendary cards, one Epic card, 20 Rare cards, and 24 Commons cards, along with a universal, non-faction card called Grunty. This update introduces the three factions from StarCraft – Zerg, Protoss, and Terrans – each led by a Legendary Hero card as their main force.
For me, what makes this latest collection particularly exciting is the inclusion of classic figures such as Sarah Kerrigan, Artanis, and Jim Raynor. These memorable characters evoke nostalgia from past adventures spent playing well into the night during campaigns and LAN gatherings in the past.
As a devoted collector, I’m pondering over the best way to grab these fresh new cards and expand my gleaming collection. The Mini-Set requires an investment of $19.99 or 2500 Gold, while the fully-Golden version sets you back $79.99 or 12,000 Gold – but it comes with a special bonus: a Legendary Diamond card featuring Grunty!
While you wait, if you’re excited to get involved, feel free to download Hearthstone from the App Store or Google Play. It’s a free game with additional items available for purchase within the app.
