Adobe Makes Additional $5M Grant to Fund For Underrepresented Creators, $1M For Fire Relief

Adobe and its charitable arm, the Adobe Foundation, pledge an extra $5 million towards a fund geared towards backing underrepresented artists and movie-makers.

In 2024, the Adobe Film & TV Fund was launched with a purpose: to assist creators and movie-makers in forging careers and promoting diversity and inclusion within the film and television sector. This new $5 million contribution increases their initial pledge of $6 million, which includes grants, donations, and gifts of Adobe Creative Cloud products.

Additionally, the fund is collaborating with the Group Effort Initiative – a program founded and funded by Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively since 2020 – to offer Adobe tutorials for aspiring filmmakers, editors, and marketers. Moreover, it aims to boost mid-career growth by engaging employers, offering education, training, and mentorship opportunities.
