Amazon has purchased three documentaries on environmental themes: “Groundswell,” “Common Ground,” and “Kiss the Ground.” These films are produced by directors Joshua Tickell and Rebecca Harrell Tickell, who are associated with the Big Picture Ranch brand.
The documentaries “Common Ground” and “Kiss the Ground,” which have already been released, will become available for streaming starting April 22. On a future date, the documentary “Groundswell,” which completed production last year, will be globally released on Amazon Prime Video.
In simple terms, the documentary titled “Kiss the Ground” (narrated by Woody Harrelson) spotlights scientists, farmers, and ecological activists striving to rejuvenate Earth’s topsoil health. The sequel to this film is called “Common Ground“, which highlights farmers in particular, with narration from Laura Dern and appearances of celebrities like Jason Momoa.
The discussion in Groundswell expands its focus to encompass a global standpoint, exploring strategies for mitigating climate change and preventing species extinction, one ecosystem at a time.
As a gamer, I’ve just wrapped up working on the cinematic storyline for Starz’s series “On Sacred Ground,” which sheds light on the Standing Rock Oil Pipeline protests – a project that has recently kept Big Picture Ranch busy.
