The Trailer For The Weeknd’s Movie Is Here And Jenna Ortega’s Performance Looks Seriously Twisted

Everyone looks forward to discovering upcoming horror films, but this spring, the genre will experience a unique turn with The Weeknd taking part. After Abel Tesfaye dropped his sixth and final studio album under The Weeknd last week, the first trailer for his movie titled “Hurry Up Tomorrow” has been released. I’m particularly intrigued by the hints being given about Jenna Ortega’s enigmatic character in the film.

In the trailer for “Hurry Up Tomorrow” (which you can watch above), we get our first look at a movie featuring The Weeknd. Initially, I wasn’t sure what to anticipate, but it appears that Abel Tesfaye will be portraying himself or a fictionalized version of himself in the film. He seems deeply troubled by something. Jenna Ortega is co-starring alongside him as his girlfriend, and there are indications throughout the trailer that suggest her character may have more complexities than initially perceived. For instance, she says “I’m not trying to hurt you” and apologizes to him; why would she feel the need to say this? Furthermore, we see her pouring gasoline on a house and fleeing – what is her motivation for doing so? Additionally, Abel appears to be under immense stress and bewilderment due to her actions. Many questions are arising as we await more information about this intriguing film!
