Electronic Arts has at last revealed the initial glimpse of its forthcoming expansion for the Battlefield series. Currently, the upcoming Battlefield title is nearing completion, and it’s inviting players to participate in the game creation process through a closed testing program known as “Battlefield Labs.
As an enthusiast, I’m part of Battlefield Labs, an engaging initiative where players like me get the exclusive opportunity to test the game ahead of time and share our valuable insights through feedback.
How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs?
Signing up for Battlefield Labs is pretty straightforward. Players just have to do the following:
- Visit EA’s Official Website: Visit EA’s dedicated Battlefield Labs page to access detailed information about the program and the sign-up process.
- Complete the Registration Form: Fill out the provided form with accurate personal information, including your gaming preferences and experience. This data assists EA in selecting a diverse group of testers.
- Join the Official Discord Server: After registering, if you are lucky enough, you’ll receive an invitation to EA’s official Battlefield Labs Discord server via email (playtesting@ea.com).
On this platform, we’ll primarily facilitate interactions between users and our development team. By the way, Electronic Arts recently unveiled a trailer for something called “Battlefield Labs“, which I encourage you to check out down below.

Testing will be divided into several stages, commencing with initial alpha testing. At this stage, we’re unveiling an early prototype of the game that will be played by a limited group of around 1000 players, primarily residing in Europe and North America.
We’ll have different test phases starting with alpha testing, where about 1000 players from Europe and North America get to play an early version of our game first.
At present, Electronic Arts (EA) hasn’t revealed any definite timelines for the testing stages of the upcoming Battlefield title.
However, the company has announced that the first phase of testing is set to begin soon.
Currently, the developers are emphasizing that they will primarily concentrate on the fundamental aspects of the game, such as the shooting mechanics, character movement, layout of the game environment, and overall game atmosphere.
The chosen test group will be asked to provide their feedback on a confidential Discord server, which will enable the team to iron out any issues prior to launching the final version.
Absolutely, should you secure entry, it comes with certain guidelines. Every participant must agree to a confidentiality clause. Under this clause, you’re prohibited from distributing screenshots, recordings, or specifics beyond the approved communication platforms for the test.
Make sure your computer or gaming system satisfies the game’s specifications. In other words, registration won’t be possible if your system isn’t capable of running it smoothly.
The new Battlefield game is slated to release in the first quarter of 2026.
