Charlie Puth Condemns Kanye West’s Super Bowl Ad

On Monday, I, as a fan, expressed my concerns about Kanye West’s Super Bowl ad, stating that his message was “extremely harmful.” #SpeakingMyTruth

“Please man, I beg you to stop,” Puth wrote on an Instagram Story.

Toward the end of the Super Bowl on Sunday, an advertisement for Kanye West’s brand, Yeezy, aired, leading fans to the brand’s website. The site showcased different products when the ad debuted, but by Monday morning, it displayed only one item: a T-shirt bearing a swastika symbol.

Millions look up to you,” Puth emphasized. “I implore you earnestly, could you possibly cease?”

“You have the influence of millions,” Puth stated. “I humbly request, would you consider stopping?

On Monday, the Anti-Defamation League responded to Kanye West’s recent stunt. In their statement, they expressed that his actions provided yet another example of his antisemitic attitudes. Specifically, he placed a T-shirt for sale on his website, which bore a swastika – a symbol synonymous with Nazi ideology during World War II and still used today to instill fear in those targeted by antisemitism and white supremacy. To make matters worse, the T-shirt was labeled as ‘HH-01,’ a code often associated with “Heil Hitler.” Over the past week, West has been spreading hateful antisemitic messages on social media. This behavior is inexcusable. What makes it even more disturbing is that West advertised his website during the Super Bowl, thereby reaching an audience far beyond his already vast social media following.

The advertisement shown during the Super Bowl seemed to have been purchased by a local entity rather than broadcasted across the entire nation. According to reports, it was funded by Yeezy LLC and re-aired on Fox approximately two hours following the conclusion of the game.

Days following Kanye West’s contentious performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards, where he was accompanied by his wife, Bianca Censori, the conversation went back and forth. At the event, Censori made a striking entrance in a black coat that concealed a see-through dress without any undergarments. West subsequently defended his wife’s choice of attire. However, rumors emerged later on social media suggesting that Censori had sought assistance, which her representative swiftly denied.
