❗Caution: The content below may reveal spoilers for the first episode of “90 Day Fiancé” Season 1 titled “I Love You…And You.” Stream it exclusively on Max, but beware – proceed with caution if you wish to avoid spoilers!
As I eagerly tune into the latest offerings on my TV screen in 2025, it feels like a fresh start to another rollercoaster ride of romantic ups and downs with the return of Season 11 of “90 Day Fiancé.” Although most pairs are new faces, familiar figures such as Shekinah Garner and Sarper Güven continue their journey towards marital bliss post-proposal. The season opener left us hanging on a nerve-wracking note about his K1 visa interview, but rest assured, there’s no need to fret over it.
I almost entirely appreciated the Season 11 debut of 90 Day Fiancé, save for the questionable ending. It seemed like they tried to create suspense by portraying Joe Coan‘s mysterious disappearance hours before his flight to Poland, much like in previous instances where the franchise intentionally generated tension by making characters unavailable before significant events. However, this scene appeared to be full of drama but lacked any substantial outcome.
Sarper Had A Concerned Look On His Face Following His K1 Visa Interview
Sarper entered his K1 visa interview with self-assurance, but emerged looking troubled. In fact, at that very instant, he seemed more anxious than when he disclosed the surprising number of females he had been intimate with before meeting Shekinah, if we’re using a scale to compare.
The final scene of the recent premiere of 90 Day Fiancé left viewers hanging, suggesting a piece of bad news could impact their relationship significantly. However, despite this temporary predicament, there’s optimism for better days ahead.
We Already Know What Happened Thanks To The Other Way Season 6
As a devoted fan myself, I can understand if some viewers might have shied away from spinoffs. However, those who tuned into 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way last year probably didn’t share this sentiment. During the Season 6 tell-all special, Sarper made a personal appearance, and when we discovered the fate of each couple, it was revealed that he had been residing in the United States with Shekinah for some time by then.
In other words, it seems unlikely that the outcome occurred if he didn’t get his K1 visa, suggesting either the interview wasn’t crucial or he was misleading his fiancee. But just because there might not have been major consequences in this instance on “90 Day Fiancé” Season 11, doesn’t mean their story is without any significance.
After a heated argument in Turkey, Shekinah left Sarper’s residence and had their hair extension incident during their past season. Despite making progress to the point where she agreed to his proposal, I suspect that any disagreement they may have while Sarper is in the U.S. could reignite this issue.
To recap, the premier of 90 Day Fiancé Season 11 was quite exciting, with just one minor hiccup. It’s a good time to get up to speed before next week, as we delve into the unique couple who are exploring a three-person relationship – a topic I’m sure we’ll discuss further in the near future.
