Previously, Sheeba Akashdeep had a strong connection with actors Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan during their work on Suryavanshi. Regrettably, this friendship experienced a tragic shift and disintegrated. In a recent interview, Sheeba divulged the distressing cause of their estrangement—Saif’s dog was responsible for the death of her cherished pet. Overwhelmed by the event, she chose to distance herself from them and has not reconnected since then.
Sheeba Akashdeep shared an emotional story with TopMob about the unfortunate incident that led to her rift with Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. She explained, “We were friends, neighbors too, living in the same bungalow complex. Unfortunately, their pet dog accidentally harmed my dog.
She mentioned, “Since that day, I found myself unable to speak further. My heart was shattered beyond repair, and you were particularly emotional during that period. On a few occasions afterwards, when he encountered your spouse, he inquired, ‘Is there no chance of her ever forgiving me?’

Sheeba went on to say, “At that point, my heart had broken so much that I decided to sell the house and leave the complex without delay. In an instant, I left. I realized I couldn’t stay here any longer. He was my beloved dog. That’s essentially how we drifted apart.
In her professional life, actress Sheeba Akashdeep recently appeared in the movie “Jigra,” which featured Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina as the main characters. The film made its theater debut on October 10, 2024, and can now be streamed on Netflix.
Currently, Saif Ali Khan is preparing for his upcoming movie titled “Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins”. In this film, he’ll be working alongside Jaideep Ahlawat. Also starring are Kunal Kapoor and Nikita Dutta in significant roles.
