As February draws to a close, Xbox Game Pass has unveiled the games set to debut before the month’s end. Previously, we were aware of Avowed, but Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have an additional three titles coming their way, beyond those announced earlier this month. Regrettably, standard tier subscribers can only anticipate a single game release. However, with March fast approaching, we’ll be seeing another round of games in roughly two weeks. Here are the final Xbox Game Pass releases for February:
– Avowed (Xbox Series X|S and PC) – Available now
– Far: Changing Tides (Cloud, Console, and PC) – 17th February
– Ghostrunner (Console and PC) – 23rd February
– The Art of Rally (PC) – 24th February
– The Ascent (Cloud, Console, and PC) – 25th February
- February 18th- Avowed (Xbox Series X|S, PC, Cloud) through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
- February 20th- EA Sports F1 24 (Console, PC, Cloud) through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
- February 20th- Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader (Xbox Series X|S, PC, Cloud) through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
- February 25th- Watch Dogs: Legion (Console, PC, Cloud) through Game Pass Standard, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass
It’s widely recognized that “Avowed” is one of the most significant Xbox releases this year, generating a lot of excitement among gamers about its debut on Game Pass. Last week, review embargoes were lifted for the game, and it appears reception has been predominantly positive thus far. As I write this, “Avowed” has an 80 on Metacritic, which is quite an impressive score. This number might persuade some undecided individuals to give the game a try. Keep in mind that this score could shift as more players get their hands on the game and form their own opinions.
It appears that Microsoft may have moved up this month’s Xbox releases to give the upcoming game Avowed more space for success. The rest of the Game Pass offerings for the remainder of this month are relatively minor or cater to specific niches. Games like EA Sports F1 24, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and Watch Dogs: Legion received mixed reviews upon release and may not attract a wide audience of Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Let’s hope for a stronger lineup in March, especially with some notable games scheduled to depart the service at the end of February.
In this latest announcement from Xbox, they’ve revealed an expansion of their “stream your own game” library. This feature was introduced last year, initially offering a limited selection of games. Regrettably, the official Xbox blog post doesn’t provide any insights into which titles will be added soon. Streaming games you already own is a handy feature, particularly when a game has been removed from Xbox Game Pass. Here’s hoping we’ll see more substantial growth in this service!
