Badass Ravikumar: Kirti Kulhari reveals Himesh Reshammiya rejected her dialogue suggestions, ‘Take it or leave it’

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always eager to share insights into the world of entertainment, and today I’d like to talk about my recent encounter with the talented Himesh Reshammiya during our collaboration on his latest project, “Badass Ravikumar.” In a candid conversation with News18, I opened up about our creative process.

In the course of working together, I felt compelled to offer some constructive feedback on my character’s dialogue in certain scenes, hoping to enhance its impact. However, Himesh, demonstrating his strong vision for the film, graciously listened but ultimately chose not to incorporate my suggestions. It was a valuable learning experience, and I admire his unwavering dedication to his artistic vision.

Kirti Kulhari remembered feeling compelled to give a bit of herself to certain phrases, subtly modifying them for a more genuine feel.

Kirti, recognized for powerful roles in films such as Pink and Shaitaan, openly shared, “There were certain lines I wished to modify, enhance, or deliver differently, but was advised against it. It felt a bit like an ultimatum – take it as is. Yet, this is the reality.” However, Himesh, who was also the film’s producer, stood firm in his stance and declared that the script was not open to alterations. “Himesh and I inhabit separate spheres,” she mused, “how could they ever intersect?

Despite finding no cause for offense, Kirti was instead impressed by Himesh’s conviction in his work. As he asserted, “Don’t tamper with what we have; this is how it stands,” she felt neither aggrieved nor displeased. Instead, she was glad to see someone who knew their craft well. Kirti admired Himesh’s unwavering focus and the clear vision he brought to the film, which helped her recognize her role more clearly. In the end, she agreed with his approach wholeheartedly and accepted his conditions without any reservations.

On February 7, 2025, the film “Ravikumar: Unstoppable” hit the screens. This is a spin-off from his 2014 movie, The Xposé, and serves as the second installment in the Xposé Universe. In this action-packed musical extravaganza, we see Prabhu Deva, Simona J, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sanjay Mishra, and Johnny Lever sharing the screen. The production house behind this film is Himesh Reshammiya Music, which seamlessly blends action-packed sequences with musical elements.
