As a passionate cinephile, it’s hard not to recognize one of the global cinema titans: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. From his captivating roles in movies like the animated hit Moana, its upcoming Disney remake, action-packed journeys such as Jungle Cruise, and the soon-to-be-released drama The Smashing Machine, to his engaging social media presence – he’s truly a force to be reckoned with.
Recently, The Rock shared an incredibly motivational post that left fans in awe. However, despite its inspiring nature, many keep referencing the iconic moment from Wrestlemania 41.
What Was The Rock’s Inspiring Message And What Are Fans Saying About Wrestlemania 41 In Response?
For several years, it’s been a source of excitement when Dwayne Johnson graces our screens as host of Saturday Night Live or releases a new movie. It’s hard to imagine that there was a time when this popular pancake-loving, muscular actor was simply a WWE Superstar. But his actions before and after the spectacular Wrestlemania 40 event have definitely changed that perception. While the transition from wrestler to actor took Instagram by storm as he declared “one day” will now be “day one,” fans are abuzz about Wrestlemania 41, the upcoming Showcase of the Immortals.
Here’s what The Rock had to say, so we can get into fan comments, below:

Truly remarkable. If there’s a goal you’ve been longing to achieve but have been delaying with “one day,” The Rock’s words could be just the motivation you need, wouldn’t you agree? Although his fans were touched by this message from the Red Notice star, it appears that many are actually preoccupied with an upcoming WWE event instead.
- Rock vs Roman WRESTLEMANIA 41 🔥
- We need you back in wwe 😭
- We need Rock vs Roman at WM. We need the Final Boss
- Bro, what happened with you about roman reigns vs the rock on WM41😢😢😢
- Go face your cousin bro at WrestleMania 😭
- Day 1 , Wrestlemania 41 is in 2 months to the day
Indeed, for those who may not be fully versed in WWE lore, there’s been some uncertainty about whether The Rock, the present version, will participate in WM41. Given this ambiguity, it’s understandable that fans might express their feelings through this post.
Before WWE’s WrestleMania 40, I, a movie-loving fan, found myself eagerly anticipating the comeback of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as “The Final Boss,” having joined the TKO Holdings board, which owns both the WWE and UFC. The plan was for me to square off against my cousin, Roman Reigns, at WrestleMania for the Undisputed Universal Championship. But alas! It seemed the fans had other ideas, preferring to see Roman lock horns with Cody Rhodes instead, which is exactly what transpired.
Following some time, The Final Boss emerged as a potential danger for both Cody and possibly Roman. However, this dynamic appears to have shifted significantly following the premiere of Monday Night Raw on Netflix. The People’s Champion’s debut at the show left fans baffled about his potential involvement in WM41, as he displayed amicable behavior towards Cody while also endorsing Roman as the leader, which suggests that any ongoing feud between them may have been resolved after months (or years) of tension.
It appears that the crowd’s preference has shifted towards seeing their favorite wrestler fight against Roman at Wrestlemania 41. We’ll have to wait and see how things unfold!
