On Friday, March 21st, Harmony Korine’s latest movie, titled “Baby Invasion“, is set to debut at the Knockdown Center in New York City, offering a unique and engaging cinema experience, known as an “immersive screening”.
At the gathering, Korine and EDGLRD, the director’s innovative creative and tech studio working under intellectual property rights, will reinvent the movie by incorporating live DJ mixes. This film, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival last year, is marketed as a “novel ultra-realistic, multiplayer first-person shooter game focusing on a band of mercenaries who use infant-like avatars to hide their identities. Assigned with infiltrating the homes of the wealthy and influential without leaving any traces, players must delve into every potential secret before time expires.
After the initial event, there will be a post-show celebration where Korine/EDGLRD, Eyedress, and Yves Tumor will perform live DJ mixes.

Significantly, Studio Korine’s EDGLRD is recognized for organizing sold-out events and unique screenings. Last year, the studio premiered its crime-thriller, “AGGRO DR1FT“, as part of the “AGGRO DR1FT World Tour“. This tour featured experimental screenings with custom audiovisuals in cities like New York, Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo. Notable figures such as Arca, AraabMuzik, Evian Christ, and Snow Strippers accompanied the tour.
You can now buy tickets online for the New York debut of Harmony Korine and EDGLRD’s “Baby Invasion” at a price of $48.93 USD.
