Capcom and the Monster Hunter Rampage developers hinted that there’s more than just the elegant pink Leviathan, Mizutsune, coming with the Spring Update for this title. Additional content is expected to be added as well.

On the Monster Hunter World’s official social media platforms, Capcom has shared some sneak peeks of what gamers may anticipate with the release of Update Title 1, which is scheduled for launch in early April.

Gathering Hubs

It appears that Capcom has taken notice of fans who expressed discontent about Wilds not having a designated area for gathering and socializing with friends. The lack of a central Gathering Hub was a letdown for some, as the online lobbies in Wilds are distributed across the game’s new base camps instead.

In the forthcoming version of the game, a fresh location will be added, offering players a chance to gather, share meals, and interact – much like Monster Hunter World and Iceborne – with hopes that it may double as a depository for unique Endemic Life catches.

Powerful Monsters

Ryozo and Tokuda subtly suggested that they might introduce monsters even more powerful than the existing Tempered ones, possibly referring to them as “Ultra-Tempered Monsters”. So far, no Elder Dragons have been announced for Monster Hunter Wilds, but if these super-powerful creatures make a comeback, it would significantly increase the game’s difficulty level.

The timing in early April is ideal since it allows players the opportunity to fine-tune their character builds, explore strategies involving current meta skills and equipment, and prepare for encountering these fresh challenges.

It’s additionally being discussed that Mizutsune might not be the sole fresh monster appearing. Is there a chance we could witness the comeback of Zinogre or popular choice, Lagiacrus?

Currently, here’s what we have so far regarding the Spring Update, also known as Title Update 1. Excitingly, this new content will be accessible at no cost to every player in Monster Hunter Worlds.
