When Fixer Upper debuted on HGTV in 2013, it didn’t take long for viewers to become smitten with Chip and Joanna Gaines. They worked together beautifully, as Chip was the energetic life of the party while Joanna served as the calming voice of reason – a perfect yin-yang pairing. It seems that home renovation isn’t the only area where their contrasting personalities shine; recently, Joanna appeared to be enjoying herself immensely at Disney World, whereas the photos of Chip’s facial expressions during rides are truly something special.

Chip and Joanna Gaines, who launched their Magnolia Network after five seasons of Fixer Upper on HGTV, took a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth recently. However, I don;t think Chip is fully buying into that nickname, if Joanna’s photos are any indication. The first slide on her Instagram post is the absolute cutest, as the Magnolia Table host is living her best life on Disney’s rides. The second slide shows Chip’s equal but opposite reaction:

In a stunning snapshot, Joanna Gaines appears remarkably radiant. I’ve noticed she’s been in great shape lately, thanks to her training sessions with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s fitness coach. However, even the most rigorous workout routine can’t account for someone looking THAT captivating on camera. Joanna, is it possible you splurged on some Disney magic? It’s hard to believe!

Currently, let’s discuss Chip. Although he seems to put on an impressive act with his attire, the Mickey Mouse t-shirt doesn’t appear to provide him with enough energy or confidence to handle the “entertainment” that Disney has to offer. We see a few forced smiles, some where it looks like he might vomit and one instance where I’m not certain if he’s even awake.

Chip Gaines celebrated his 50th birthday in November, marking a significant milestone for a man who identifies himself as a modern-day Peter Pan and is recognized for his playful spirit. However, the images shared don’t convey much of this youthful energy — after all, Peter Pan was fond of flying, so…

To me, the most amusing aspect is that Chip Gaines appears to be the daredevil among him and his wife. He seems eager for thrills, rollercoaster twists, turns, loops, and drops, while she gives off a more collected vibe, suggesting she’d prefer to stay grounded. This situation reminds us not to jump to conclusions.

After two decades of marriage and raising five wonderful kids, these two characters remain an impeccable pair, effortlessly complementing one another – even when their roles appear to have switched.

On Magnolia Network, they persistently share home, cooking content, and more, even diving into entertaining family programs such as “Human vs. Hampster” (a must-watch, suggested by our Mick Joest). Interestingly, this kind of activity seems right up Chip Gaines’ alley, but surprisingly, it appears that Joanna might have a greater affinity for the hamster side of things.
