Oscars night has continued the Grammys naked trend.
At this year’s most anticipated music event, a variety of bras, undergarments, corsets, and more were showcased during the 2025 Grammy Awards. The event, as described by Laurie Brookins from The Hollywood Reporter, could almost be referred to as the “Lingerie Grammys.” Notably, Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, made a bold statement on the red carpet by forgoing underwear altogether.
For the 2025 Oscars, several celebrities upheld the fashion trend initiated on the red carpet for the grandest Hollywood event, and they carried it forward to the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, where baring it all has almost become a tradition.
Or simpler:
At the 2025 Oscars, many stars followed the trend set on the red carpet for the biggest night in Hollywood, and they continued this trend at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party by embracing the minimalist look, which is now tradition.
Julia Fox attended the annual celebrity-filled afterparty in Los Angeles on Sunday night, donning a completely transparent Dilara Findikoglu dress by her side. Although the dress was see-through, Julia wasn’t entirely bare beneath it, and she had long hair extensions covering her body underneath the sheer fabric. Julia opted for minimal accessories and wore natural make-up, completing her ensemble with mesh pointed-toe pumps. (Later on, Julia added a blonde wig to her outfit for Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party.)

At the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Olivia Wilde arrived in an outfit reminiscent of nudity, but unlike some others, she opted not to expose her nipples in her semi-transparent lace dress from Chemena Kamali’s Chloé Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection. Her attire subtly revealed her undergarments made of lace. She paired the ensemble with a gold clutch and a silver pendant necklace as her accessories.

Notably, both Fox and Wilde often showcase daring styles on the red carpet, with minimal coverage, and they aren’t alone in this trend.
Megan Thee Stallion made a bold appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, sporting a green gown with nothing but green nipple pasties to cover her chest. When asked about her fashion choice, she said, “I wanted to make a statement like ‘she’s going full exposure at Vanity Fair.’ She’s definitely channeling Poison Ivy.

After her “Diamonds Are Forever” Bond tribute performance during the broadcast, where she sparkled in diamonds wearing a Swarovski-crystal-adorned nude dress, Doja Cat made another impression on the same after party carpet by donning a trick-of-the-eye nude dress.

Other outfits that showcased a dash of inspiration were donned by attendees Zoë Kravitz, Keke Palmer, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Ciara, Hari Nef, Teyana Taylor, Nikki Glaser, and Paige DeSorbo at the Vanity Fair event.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’d switch to my fashion-forward alter-ego for a bit: “I can’t wait to catch the glitz and glamour of the Oscar telecast’s red carpet at the Dolby Theatre! Let’s see who’s making heads turn with their stunning outfits before the after-party excitement kicks off.
