Considering Nintendo’s recent focus on mobile games, it was almost inevitable that certain titles originally exclusive to the Nintendo Switch would eventually appear on smartphones. Frankly, I never thought The New Denpa Men, that peculiar and dreamlike RPG, would be among them!

However, as per reports from Gematsu, a website known for its detailed coverage of Japanese launches, The New Denpa Men is scheduled to debut on both iOS and Android platforms on March 10th. Notably, the original game was an early adopter of AR technology through the 3DS camera, and it’s said that this feature will be carried forward in the upcoming release.

The Denpa Men series, while not identical to Mario or Zelda, has been showcased on various Nintendo systems throughout the years. Additionally, the developer Genius Sonority isn’t new to mobile platforms; they previously created the original mobile version of New Denpa Men, which was later remade for the Switch.

Indeed, it appears that we could soon be enjoying an updated version of a mobile game, which has been enhanced for the Nintendo Switch. In simpler terms, this means that a revamped edition of the game, initially only available in Japan on mobile devices, is now coming out globally on the Nintendo Switch platform. This could potentially open up the possibility of a worldwide release for everyone to enjoy.
