Enthusiasts looking forward to visiting Universal Orlando Resort’s upcoming park, Epic Universe, can now make concrete travel arrangements using the Universal Florida app and its detailed interactive park map, providing a tangible planning experience.
On May 22, 2025, the grand opening of Epic Universe will unveil an exciting era for theme park enthusiasts, delivering cutting-edge, interactive, and heart-pounding adventures across its five mesmerizing realms. Given the multitude of marvels scattered throughout this immersive playground, it may be beneficial to devise a strategy or at least familiarize yourself with the park’s layout to optimize your ride selections, dining options, and other activities. Additionally, knowing the location of the nearest restrooms will ensure you make the most of your time at Epic Universe by minimizing unnecessary delays.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to announce that I now have a comprehensive guide at my fingertips! Epic Universe has been integrated into the official app alongside Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay. This interactive map not only pinpoints these incredible destinations but also provides me with valuable insights about various other attractions within the park. It’s like having a personal tour guide for all my adventures!
How to access the Epic Universe map on the Universal Orlando App
To begin with, get the “Universal FL” app on your preferred mobile device. On the home screen, look for a button called “Map.” When you tap it, you’ll see three large parks displayed. If you click the dropdown menu or swipe left, you’ll discover “Universal Epic Universe.” Give it a tap and get ready to be astounded.
How to navigate the Epic Universe Map on the Universal Orlando App

Initially, the map displays ride attractions along with the primary pages for the five realms (Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and Dark Universe). Tapping on any of these realm’s main pages allows you to view details about dining spots, attractions, shopping, and more. Although much of this information was accessible before, it’s convenient to have it all gathered in one interactive location. Given the excitement surrounding these areas, it’s exciting to know where each one is situated within the park.
This new map provides far more than just ride details; it also offers a range of additional features. At the top, you’ll find a bar with various filters that will help you discover other attractions and their locations within the park. For instance, parents can filter the entire park to view only kid-friendly options. While Dark Universe might not be suitable for young children, Super Nintendo World and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk are perfect for keeping the little ones entertained.
Up top, left-hand side, you’ll spot a handy dropdown menu. This menu has extra filter options like “guest amenities.” If you select this, it’ll reveal the bathroom locations throughout the park on your screen. Now, you might not necessarily plan for these in advance, but when you’re actually there, having them easily accessible could be quite convenient!
Although nothing compares to physically being in the park and immersing oneself in the experiences, the newly interactive map of Epic Universe offers a close alternative for people right now, giving them the sensation they’re exploring the array of exciting offerings that will be accessible when the park opens on May 22, 2025.
With the necessary planning resources on hand, the next step is securing tickets for Universal Studios’ Epic Universe – the most significant advancement in theme parks in recent years, exclusively available at Universal Orlando Resort.
